Heard of "The Quest 2008" organised by nEbO (Cathay) last year? They are having one this year called "The Quest - Museum Edition 2009" on Sat, 21 Nov 09 (Flag-off @ Fort Canning Park at 8:30am; End-point @ Downtown East).

EJ ~ interested to form teams of each 4 or 5 participates to complete a series of tasks island-wide to uncover more about Singapore's heritage & culture?

The Race is open to youths between 12 - 25 years old. Registration fee is $5 for nEbO members & $15 for non-member (includes 1-year nEbO membership worth $40). Participants will each receive an event T-shirt and a goodie bag worth over $50.

I've not joined before but it looks like a fun, healthy activity as we can learn more about Singapore and “win” an experience for ourselves. We even get a chance to win prizes too. Besides, we can make it an EJ activity if we can form at least 2 to 3 teams. What do you all think ? Are we competitive EJ?

all over maranthons

Here's some short marathons/runs we can consider running together :

1. 2009 Race against Cancer (http://www.raceagainstcancer.org.sg) on 23 Aug @ 7:45am at East Coast Park for 5km. $30/runner above 12 yrs old.

2. Run Singapore 2009 (http://www.runsingapore.com) on 6 Sept @ 5:15pm (evening) at the Padang for 5.067km. ($25/runner). It's a fund raising event for the President's Challenge.

3. Run for Hope (http://www.runforhopesingapore.org) on 22 Nov @ 7:00am at East Coast Park for 4km. Registration before 31/8 is $15 & thereafter is $18/runner.

Remember it's not just fun & healthy, we are also helping to raise fund for charities.
Please let me know asap which one you all are interested to join.

Kids Dash ... too late

All places for the 750m Standard Chartered Kids Dash have been taken up due to its overwhelming response. Registration therefore is now closed for this category. Sigh. :(
..... Will look out for others to join together then ... however there's hardly such short distance for our age though. :)

#1.MARATHON. i think that i would be fun to take part in the marathon together! after all we have some real talented runners AND its only 750m! :D pls consider joining cos i think it'll be really fun. you know when i read the first part i had a "vision" of us singing God is Moving and running together. HAHAHA LAME i know but it seems like fun! :D
#2.Sick ppl (?) yeah so recently there's been many peepos in our DG that're sick (including myself haha) so PRAY for each other kays? yeap. so far i know that libby and mariel are sick yea. so pray for them! :D haha get well soon gals.

Hi Hi,
Anyone interested to join the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathan 2009 to be held Sunday, 6 Dec 2009? ..... but we're only eligible for the Kids Dash category (just 750m) ~ & for those between 10-13 years old, start time is 10:30am. (Runners must be 14 years old & above to join the other categories, sigh.)

God Talent

hey people! Ashley here. Serena asks if you guys want to put up an act/skit/play or something for the DARE God Talent thing. maybe we can come with something that can showcase a bit of all our talents? please sms me something you can do very well like an ability to put your toe in your mouth or one in which you can sing the alphabets backwards fast. Serena suggested something like Keith and I being the bullies and doing the evil laugh and making Acer cry and stuffing Kidmann in a locker. hahaha. i also had an idea of making our own mini talent show as our item, not sure what you guys think of it. if y'all have any ideas, just post it on the blog, no matter how ridiculous it may sound, okay?
